Labor Day Post

You know what?  This time last year I was jobless, and the year before last I was jobless, but I still have the strength to smile and laugh.  I have wonderful family (which I call many names besides wonderful).

I am still writing and before the end of this year, I will have a book with my name on it! Unless the world really ends in December 2012.  This is crazy talk I tell ya!

Website up by 4/14/2012!

I know I've been missing in action these few months.  I've been busy working on book 2 and other writing projects.  Finally got good help and will have website up by this Sunday!  My first book is schedule to be release July 15, 2012!  It is presently being fine tuned.  Thank you all for so much patience!  

Time for help!

It is Saturday and guess what?  Site still not up!  As you know by now if you come to Renenightingale.com you will be directed to my blog.  I've decided to get professional help to complete my website.  There comes a time when a person have to venture out and get the help they need.  Right now I need help and I have found the right person to help me. 


Updates

• Currently a new book cover is being designed. I hope to be revealing it soon as it is finalized.  
• Awaiting my final edits to be returned.
• Presently working on book 2 in the Raina series.

Ups and downs!

Trying to do everything myself is a pain in the you know what...  I will have the new site up and running by this Saturday!  I've been swamped with day to day things, but as you know we all experience such things in this profession.  Hmmm... This is the first time I've used profession to describe what I do.  Every day is a new struggles and new lessons to learn, but that is part of my craft and I accept it.  Well enough of this boring stuff, my final edits is done and I am awaiting the final polished work of art to be returned to me in a few weeks.  Yes I referred to my book as a work of art!  If you don't believe highly of your work, then why should others? 

Update Letter!

Dear Friends/Fans/Family/Weirdos like me:

I've been away from the blogging thing for some time now, but I've come back with updates.  This week I will be receving my final edits for review and I am so excited!  The changes I made to roll out a new website should (God willing) be ready by this Sunday.  Don't worry the website will be easy to remember.   www.renenightingale.com      Oh if you don't know to spell my name by now, shame on you!  Still the Jealousy vampire continues to bite me harder every day.  Many of my frends/sisters/brothers have been releasing books left and right and I've have been left in the dust, but this year I will try to catch up!  Don't forget this Friday a new Underworld Movie!

Happy Birthday Everyone/ 2012 Wish List

Okay, I know it should be Happy New Years, but I didn't feel like changing it back after seeing the typo! This is my first post of the year and I have so many resolutions/wishes.  I am going to share my top 5.

My Top 5:

1: Become a published writer/storyteller/author(blah).

2: Put my book on the table as a conversation piece.  Oh that right there?  I wrote that.

3: Get in shape.  To be honest, I don't think that is going to happen but that's the reason its on the wish list!

4: Go to a convention so I can get autographs from as many famous people as I can.  Then I will sell it as a collection!

5: My last wish is to improve in any way possible even though I am perfect (yeah right!).  This include spending more time with the family, friends, etc.
